People’s International Enterprises Company is a company engaged in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of all types of batteries under the brand name NEUTRON®. It was formally organized as a business partnership on 07 June 1984 under Entry No. 00236 of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company assets includes land and office building at 1386 E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue corner Mabolo Street, New Manila, Quezon City; land, office building and display area at 60 Third St., New Manila, Quezon City; and a manufacturing plant and warehouse at 3117 Urrutia Street, General T. de Leon, Karuhatan, Valenzuela, Metro Manila; various machineries, equipment and motor vehicles used in the business.
The company specializes in the manufacture of different kinds of secondary batteries that have been tested reliable for the following applications:
Stationary batteries for the requirements of plants and substations of power utility firms, UPS and PABX systems of banks, offices and telecommunication companies, switchgears and substations of industrial and manufacturing plants.
Industrial or traction batteries for aircraft ground power units and electric forklifts.
Marine batteries for shipping and fishing vessels.
Locomotive batteries for underground mine trains and carts.
Deep cycle batteries for cars, buses, generators and other utility vehicles.
Solar Batteries for lightstations and unmanned relay stations.
The Company also does Sales and Marketing of imported Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries better known as Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) Gel and AGM types, for clients that require them.

Company personnel particularly those engaged in the manufacture of batteries undertake training and seminar on battery manufacture that includes actual casting, pasting, curing, forming dying and assembly under the supervision of plant manager and supervisors. All employees of the company are encouraged to render optimum work performance and enjoined to observe strict quality control standards as required by specifications to come out with batteries of superior quality.

The company in manufacturing its batteries refers and adheres to the standards set by the International Electrotechnical Commission, Geneva Switzerland and the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineer, Inc. New York, New York, particularly:
IEEE Standard 450-2002, which is the IEEE Recommended Practice of Maintenance, Testing and Replacement of Vented Lead-Acid Batteries for Stationary Applications;
IEEE Standard 484-2002, which is the IEEE Recommended Practice for Installation, Design and Installation of Vented Lead-Acid Batteries for Stationary Applications and,
IEEE Standard 1184-1994, which is the IEEE Guide for the Selection and Sizing of Batteries for Uninterruptible Power Systems.
The company also complies with the environmental laws in the Philippines under Republic Act 9513, “The Renewable Energy Act of 2008.”
